WHERE TO BUY TEA TOWELS
I no longer carry tea towels, but before I carried my own, I purchased my towels retail from Robin at www.quilterstudio.com. She has a wide variety of towels to choose!
Click here to check out her website.
Quilt shops can purchase tea towels wholesale directly from the source. The two companies I purchased from are www.dunrovenhouse.com and www.parkdesigns.net (I suggest requesting their catalog.)
WHERE TO BUY THE EYE BUTTONS
The eyes are special clay buttons made by my friends at Just Another Button Company. Each eye is all one piece, including the white around the edge all the way down to the little white fleck. Here's a link to see the buttons on their website... Clay Eye at Just Another Button Company
You can also try putting a smaller black button on top of a slightly larger white button, and sewing through both to make the eye. Because the white one below is just a little bit bigger than the black one on top, it will show around the edges. But, on a smaller applique like this one, I prefer the flat clay button. The layering of buttons probably works better on larger characters.
