Farmers Market Fabric and Book
Farmers Market Fabric
My newest fabric line through Red Rooster called Farmers Market is now available in quilt shops and online! The line includes a master panel containing three cute farmers market scenes. (Master panel pictured below.) Click here to view the swatch sheet containing all sku's! Farmers Market Book Now Available! Create some wonderful gifts, wallhangings, bags, and even games! Inside you will find projects such as an apron, a tic-tac-toe game quilt with bean bag bees and flowers, quilted journal covers in two sizes, adorable goody bags that look like bugs and flowers, and more! Here's a sneak peek at some of the projects in the book...
What is the one thing I would wish for? Just Peas on Earth! This wallhanging has a finished size of 14" x 24". Then you can take the applique of the peas in the pod and make a tea towel...
This applique would also make a cute pillow for your favorite little "sweet pea."
These are just the cutest little bags. They are all made the same way, it's just a matter of what fabrics, buttons, and how many wings/petals you choose! Here's a close-up of the ladybug...
I love the contrast of the red on black in this one.
This is a tic-tac-toe game quilt! Some of you may have made my "Stick-Bat-Toad" board from my Happy Haunters book. Well, I couldn't come up with a clever name for this one, but it makes a great spring/summer quilt, that is also functional! The bees and flowers are each filled with bean bag pellets. You can also use the pattern in others ways...
If you stuff the flowers and bees with polyester fiberfill, instead of using bean bag pellets, you can add a little sleeve on back and make decorative flowers.
Wouldn't these bees and flowers be cute hanging from a kid's canopy bed and curtains?
These I love because they are so darn cute, but they are also extremely handy! I have practically worn mine out! The book includes instructions for two sizes. One is for a composition book, and one is for a spiral notebook. Magnet Sew-On Snaps by Dritz make the tabs quick and easy to close. The buttons are purely decorative... just because I like them :o)
And finally, the market apron, complete with large bottom ruffle. I also made this one in my Kelly's Sweet Treats fabric. (See picture below.) Both are pictured in the book.
